Project/Mission Statement
Listening to a Changing World is a sound and projection display that asks that questions: How have humans impacted the environmental acoustic world around them? Is it a positive impact? What can we do differently to live harmoniously with natural spaces? The display consists of an audio track, and a visual component. The audio composition uses a collection of natural sounds and digitally produced sounds to abstractly reference human interaction with the natural world. The visual aspect aids the audio, and acts as the bridge between the abstract and real world.
