Matt Wellins
Found most frequently at transfer stations, dollar stores, and internet forums for bootlegged films, Matt Wellins otherwise resides in New Haven, CT. His work is broadly occupied with the way objects resist control, the snafus of live performance, and how difficult it is to do very simple things. Insomuch as any of this can be heard, he generally works with analog circuitry, field recording, notated music and computer programming.
This work has been fueled by long-term research into the private loft theater of 1970s New York, cybernetic systems in the work of Gordon Mumma and Roland Kayn, and most recently, the ZBS Artist-in-Residency program. He has released music on What the...? Records and presented work at Anthology Film Archives (with Sarah Halpern) and the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center in Troy, NY.

Kit Son Lee
Kit Son Lee (sometimes Son Kit) is a designer, developer, and artist based in Brooklyn, NY by way of Providence, RI and Koreatown, Los Angeles. Kit’s work investigates, exaggerates, and narrativizes the methods of network surveillance, the attention economy, machine learning, and UX/UI design to confront them on the field of analogy. Through a form-agnostic practice spanning web experiences, interactive sculpture, graphic systems, and language (natural and programming), they appropriate interface metaphors towards the building of tools—for new approaches to, visceral implication in, and the collective sabotage of the computational structures undergirding contemporary society.
Kit is a co-founder of Codify Art, a Brooklyn-based producorial collective dedicated to supporting work by queer and trans artists of color, and an editor at Queer Aesthetics, an interdisciplinary open-access journal pursuing equitable representation in the arts. They have exhibited work at SOHO20 (Brooklyn), Naughton Gallery (Belfast), New Museum Youth Summit (NYC), and Franklin Street Works (Stamford), curated exhibitions at The Public Theater, bitforms gallery, and SPRING/BREAK Art Show, and given lectures and workshops at the Whitney Museum, Brooklyn Museum, PRINTED MATTER LA Art Book Fair, and Yale University, among other institutions. Their writing appears in The Art Happens Here: Net Art Anthology (Rhizome, 2019), Interjection Calendar 005 (Montez Press, 2020), and Smoke + Mold, Issue 4 (2021). They have taught at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and have been a guest critic at Brown University, The Cooper Union, and Parsons School of Design. Currently, they are Visiting Fellow at the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology at Connecticut College and Lecturer at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. Kit holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD and BAs in Visual Art and Literary Arts from Brown University.
