The Residential Experience
You’ll live on campus in our beautiful and historical residence halls with your peers and residential counselors, who are current Connecticut College students. Eat in our dining halls, hang out with your friends and watch a movie or play frisbee on Tempel Green.
You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in activities such as tennis, swimming, bowling, or kayaking on the Thames River from our newly renovated waterfront. You’ll sample a variety of skill-building electives, such as wellness workshops, college essay writing, interview preparation, and learn more about the college admission process from the pros.
Summer@Conn students are typically housed in double rooms with a roommate. If a student requires a single room, arrangements can be made by contacting the Director of Summer Programs. Connecticut College residence halls offer dormitory-style housing with shared bathrooms on each floor. Pre-college students have the option to live on an all-female, all-male, or all-gender floor. The bathrooms on all-female and all-male floors correspond to the genders living on those floors; the bathrooms on the all-gender floor are gender-inclusive, and you may share a bathroom with someone whose gender identity or expression does not match your own.
