Connecticut College offers many academic software applications for faculty and staff to access throughout various labs on campus and open access computers in Shain Library.

Software Center allows you to install licensed software, updates and plug-ins on College-owned Windows computers without having to contact the IT Service Desk or Computer Support Services. It does not require that you have administrative rights on your PC.
There are several programs that can be installed on your computer in the Software Library. You'll find complete instructions on the Software Library page.
Faculty/staff can access the Software Library with their Camel Username and password. The IT Service Desk can assist with installation during regular business hours.
Support for software in the Software Library is available on a best effort basis.
As a current member of the Connecticut College faculty or staff, you are eligible to purchase several software packages for your own personal computer at a significantly reduced price. Get more details at the OnTheHub page.

For additional software needs, each academic department has been allocated funds from the IS budget to support the acquisition of academic software for teaching and research. Requests for software purchases should be made through a WebHelpDesk ticket.
