Women's soccer's Sara Kogelmann '20 named Academic All-American
Connecticut College's Sara Kogelmann '20 has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Division III Women's Soccer Team, announced the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The junior defender and economics major was chosen to the third team.
Kogelmann is the first women's soccer player in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition.
Kogelmann, who has also been recognized as a two-time academic all-district selection by CoSIDA, helped anchor a Camel back line which shutout five opponents and yielded one goal or less 10 times in 15 matches. On campus, Kogelmann is a member of the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Club and Green Dot. Furthermore, she tutors other Connecticut College students in economics.
