A full slate of programs and activities awaited Camels of all ages on Friday including a memorial exhibition of work by emeritus professor of Chinese Charles Chu, a speed networking workshop, and performances from the Connecticut College Theater Department, the College's seven a cappella groups, and PRISM.
On day two of Fall Weekend, alumni, students, families and friends were invited to attend the State of the College address from President Katherine Bergeron, learn about students' funded internships, cheer on the Connecticut College soccer teams and congregate for lunch on Tempel Green.
During the afternoon, student clubs and organizations sold swag and goodies at Harvestfest, a Fall Weekend tradition, and enjoyed an afternoon of fun on the green. Alumni sat on panels and discussed life after Conn from careers to activism. The night ended with a guest lecture from plant ecologist Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer, a performance from the Dance Theatre of Harlem, and a dance under the tent on Tempel Green.
The weekend ended with blue skies and smiling faces. We could not have asked for a more perfect #CCFallWeekend.
